Problem #1:
Clean diets and conventional fitness advice hijack your metabolism

Does any of this sound familiar? That's just what getting fit looks like, right?

Well, we’re going to let you in on a little secret.

Cutting carbs, counting calories and eating the same thing day after day is the fastest way to derail your health and fitness goals.

  • Starting the day off with a high protein breakfast (and a little oatmeal on the side)

  • Putting in an hour (or two) of cardio on the treadmill at the gym

  • Carefully counting the calories in your chicken and rice lunch (that you’ve had for the past two weeks)

  • Avoiding rice, bread or sweet potatoes at night because you can’t have carbs before bedtime (even though your body is screaming for them)

  • Weighing yourself and wondering when the scale will finally start to move

  • Giving in to pizza and beer when you’re out to dinner with friends (followed by beating yourself up and promising to get back on track on Monday)

Why? That's because:

  • Boring, bland, restrictive diets leave you feeling deprived (which increases the chances that you’ll go off track)

  • Eating the same thing for months on end can cause you to develop food allergies

  • Improper calorie cutting (especially of carbs) will derail your insulin levels and the hormones that control your hunger and energy metabolism

Which leads us to the next reason why most diets fail.

Problem #2
Generic programs aren't built for individuals

There Are 3 Body Types

Creators of fad diets and workouts tell you what works for them. They don't consider the most important factor: you.
Ectomorphs

Everyone has an ectomorph in their life. They’re the ones who can eat anything and never gain weight. They have a fast metabolism and it’s tough for them to build muscle. Chris Rock, Kate Moss, Tobey Maguire and Audrey Hepburn are classic ectomorphs.

Endomorphs

Endomorphs are the polar opposite of ectomorphs. You know you’re an endomorph if you have a larger frame, store fat easily and never seem to have any success with diet or exercise programs. Jack Black, Oprah Winfrey, John Goodman and Queen Latifah are great examples of endomorphs.

Mesomorphs

Mesomorphs tend to be the sought after body type. Think easy-to-build muscles, low body fat (but a larger frame) and a moderate appetite. Halle Berry, Sylvester Stallone, Jennifer Garner and Arnold Schwarzenegger are all mesomorphs.

Each body type has unique needs and characteristics that will flourish with the right diet and workout program (and hit a wall with the wrong one).

So, it makes sense that a One-Size-Fits-All diet won’t work for everyone.

Most of the creators behind fad diets just stumbled on what worked short-term for them (or a few other people).....and assumed they’d found THE ANSWER for everyone.
