Cheat meals can be hugely beneficial WHEN they are properly utilized.

A big part of the program is teaching you how to master cheat meals using methods unique to Alpha Shred. However a few things must first be considered. As always, Firstly you must consider your goal. Some guys will get more or less of these “refeed” style meals if their body-type requires more.  You will be able to often incorporate some of your favourite food items normally not deemed suitable on a “diet” because of the science we are using.

When you purchase your Alpha Shred plan you should receive a confirmation email.  You should also be offered a chance to grab the “done for you” diet portion, This follow up email is to confirm your purchase and activate your program. Once activated you are off to the races!  I strongly suggest you take 2-3 hours with your phone off to look through and read your program VERY closely. Short answer to a long question, YES, But In order to lose lots of body fat you must be increasing your calorie NEED otherwise the only solution is to be in a constant calorie deficit…. This is what most diets get wrong, putting you in a basic diet where you are eating the same everyday, putting yourself in a deficit will get you fat loss results, BUT also result in less muscle mass, this ends badly with you needing to continue to lower calories, again and again until your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) also known as your “maintenance calorie level” is so low it could NEVER support a REAL lifestyle you’d actually enjoy living!

This is everything Alpha Shred IS NOT.

So as much as you can add some lean muscle while lowering bodyfat using the Alpha system, I recommend Just focusing on one MAIN goal focus. If bodyfat is higher than 20% you should always be looking to lower fat levels before even thinking about “bulking”  simple because the body cannot be in an optimal hormone range to get big & lean while sitting at a high bodyfat.

If you have special needs, then you should speak with a doctor before following anybody’s meal plans, including ours.

Honestly, even though it is called a ‘6 week plan’ Alpha Shred is possibly the most sustainable style of eating/dieting I have ever done personally, one could literally use this protocol for years if desired.

Most people will see steady, consistent improvements in their physique for at least 3 months, losing up to 20-30 pounds or gaining up to 12-15 pounds in that period.

Eventually, results will slow down as you get more advanced, such is natural, but all you need to do to keep the needle moving is make the appropriate adjustments to your plan or get one-on-one help through a service like my 1 on 1 coaching.

If you’re dieting to lose fat,  and you are closer to obese you can expect to lose around one to one and a half pounds of fat per week. You could lose slightly more or less than that depending on how much you weigh, your activity levels, and how closely you follow your meal plan.

If you’re dieting to gain muscle, you can expect to gain around one half to 1 pound per week. You could gain slightly more or less than that depending on how long you’ve been lifting weights, your activity levels, and how closely you follow your meal plan. 5-6 lbs of lean muscle might not sound like a lot but can be VERY noticeable on a physique that has also lost body fat!
